Lasting Impact

Today was a delight in many ways.  Some teachers that received our training a little less than two years ago popped in to say hi.  They were sharing how much they had received from the training.  It is always a joy to see God's work carried out and have a lasting impact.

Today was fun to see Bob's inner actor be revealed as little skits were done to teach discipline.  The current trainers learned about different personalities and how to handle them in the classroom.  They learned some additional story telling ideas.  They really came alive with the sock puppets and memory verse games.

I posted some live video feeds over on our facebook page so I hope you'll check it out. https://www.facebook.com/Fifty5five/

Tomorrow they will put their new skills into practice as we all head out into the neighborhood to round up kids to come participate.  We'll be working together to help launch a new kids club.  What a privilege it is to see a new work that God is doing that will have an eternal impact.

Please pray for little hearts to be open to the message tomorrow.  Please also keep our trip in prayer for Siem Reap.  Half of the training there was cancelled.  I'm praying and doing the footwork to see if there is anything else He has for us there.  Thank you again for your prayers for safety, unity, and health.  Everyone is doing great.

It's bedtime here so I'm hoping my post made sense.  May God bless you as you go about your day.

  1. Your post made absolute sense, no worries on that. Sorry half the training was cancelled but my guess is it is just so God can show off even more with what He can do with what seems little. Loaves and fishes! Praying praying praying. Absolutely love seeing all those smiles : )
